True Craftsmanship
Relocated from Edge Hill, Banbury in The Cotswolds, “The Lookout” is a nod to both the past and present; a traditional shepherd’s hut exterior with all the mod cons you need on the inside. Our beautiful shepherd’s hut was handmade by the skilled craftsmen at Riverside Shepherd Huts in Worcestershire, who continues to blend time-honoured techniques together with the benefits of modern technology and materials.
Interior
There is a fold-down double bed accompanied by a luxurious feather duvet and plump pillows with Egyptian cotton bed linen. Soft fluffy towels, slippers and bath robes are provided for your comfort during your stay. The kitchen has two electric rings and a full-size electric oven, integrated fridge with freezer compartment, along with kitchen utensils and tableware. There is also a modern bathroom with an electric shower, Moroccan ceramic basin, and a domestic flushing toilet.
Additional accommodation can be provided for up to 1 child or adult on an inflatable mattress or 1 infant in a travel cot. We also permit up to two well-behaved dogs to stay for an additional fee and provide a doggie welcome pack for your ‘fur-babies’. You can include these added extras by ticking the relevant boxes on the booking page to include the fees in your reservation, or you can contact us for more information when booking.
Exterior
Outside, is your own private patio dining area with a fire pit BBQ and views over fields and woodlands, and you can also relax in the sun loungers and watch the ‘wildlife tv’. You can often see buzzards soaring the skies overhead and a herd of deer grazing at dusk in the fields. At night, you will hear the owls calling to one another. If you’re especially lucky, you may even get to see the elusive barn owl! We get some spectacular sunsets here and on a clear night, you can see the Milky Way. Whether you are on a romantic getaway or a family holiday, “The Lookout” offers both comfort and luxury in a beautiful rural setting.
Bookings
To book online there is a two night minimum stay as standard, and prices are based on up to two guests sharing, plus a cleaning fee of £30. Two additional guests can be accommodated on air mattresses for a fee of £30 per guest, per night. If you require a single night stay, please make enquiries directly with us as this will be subject to availability and the cleaning fee.

- This is a non-smoking accommodation for of 2 adults in a pull down double bed.
- Additional accommodation for 1 child or 1 adult on an inflatable single mattress for an additional fee of £30 per person per night, or 1 infant in a travel cot for an additional fee of £30 per week.
