Whip up a sumptuous feast in the well-equipped country cottage kitchen, relax in front of a roaring fire, and enjoy restful sleep in luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets as well as a duck feather bedding.
The country cottage has a private garden with a fire pit BBQ and picnic bench on the lawn and lovely views overlooking green fields and woodlands. Additional dining table, chairs and sun loungers are also available. The sunsets here can be pretty spectacular! Additionally, there is also a lockable bike shed for cycling enthusiasts.
Whether you are on a romantic getaway or a family holiday, our Country Cottage offers both comfort and luxury in a beautiful rural setting. Child-friendly and child-safety features throughout, for example: toughened glass balustrade, cot, baby changing mat, toddler’s bathroom step and loo seat, and optional fireguard and baby gate on the staircase. Please request at the time of booking. The cottage sleeps 4 plus an infant in a cot. We can offer a travel cot for hire and a single inflatable mattress should you require extra sleeping capacity for an additional fee. We also permit up to two well-behaved dogs to stay for an additional fee and provide a doggie welcome pack for your ‘fur-babies’. You can include this added extras by ticking the relevant boxes on the booking page to include the fees in your reservation, or you can contact us for more information when booking.
Easy access to walks and cycle paths (Southwater Woods, Southwater Country Park, Downs Link, South Downs National Park) and to nearby sites and attractions. Horsham town centre is a 9 minute drive away, and offers a broad selection of shops, boutiques, gastro pubs, restaurants and bars selling craft beers. Furthermore, there is an Everyman Cinema, a theatre, and venues hosting live music and comedy events. Horsham Market takes place twice a week. You can sample some of the best street food in Sussex on a Thursday or fill up your fridge with local produce and artisan breads and cheeses from the farmers market on Saturdays.
Bookings
There is a three night minimum stay and the price is based on up to for four guests sharing. Two additional guests can be accommodated on air mattresses for a fee of £30 per guest, per night. There is a standard cleaning fee of £70 for your stay. If you require to only stay one or two nights, please contact us as this will be subject to availability, a premium and cleaning fee.
